THE CROFTER
STUD FEE 200 NFFR
The Crofter is a pure bred Irish Draught stallion who has lived on the farm since he was eight months old. He is now fifteen. Unusually, he runs with his mares and covers naturally. A very good success rate occurs through this with very few mares not being in foal when they leave. A new string to his bow may be the ability to artificially inseminate mares. This is currently being explored and we will keep you updated as to the feasibility of this. The home broodmares are thoroughbreds so producing a fine mix of quality and trainability.
The CROFTER is a fine looking horse with the most superb temperament which he passes on to his offspring. He ia an extravagant mover and his offspring are now appearing, with great success, across many disciplines, including showing, show-jumping and eventing. Many of the youngsters have been purchased for good all round horses and popular hunters.
