Riding School
Why not experience riding in 100 acres of rolling Northants countryside. We have numerous horses and ponies of different sizes to suit all abilities and ages. No previous experience necessary as we specialise in total beginners. You can learn to ride in the safe environment of either the enclosed sand arena, the wood chip surface or when confident enough riding on the grassland that Plum Park Farm offers, progressing to the cross-country fences. To allow us to assess your capabilities and choose your ideal mount, your first session will be a 'one on one' induction lesson. Once having your introduction we can then place you in an appropriate group. We pride ourselves keeping our classes to a minimum so all riders get a personal touch.
Prices starting from £12 per lesson with hat hire available, we believe Plum Park will provide the fun, but safe way to learn not only the riding of horses/ponies but also the tack, tacking up and some general understanding of these animals. The on site comprehensive CROSS COUNTRY COURSE also allows us to offer experienced teachers to help you or your horse improve some of your skills. We look forward to seeing you.
